Another aspect of this project is the opportunity to actually visit the countries of the Bambooseros during training or ongoing opperations. With that comes the recognition of the many social, environmental, political needs of the country. In some instances we can "wrap" multiple needs together. In Ghana, Craig noticed the amount of liter accumulating form one source in particular. The Ghanian water sachet - a plastic bag filled with potable water. The empty plastic bags are strewn about the roads and there are already people working on the issue.

Craig has comissioned locals to sew these bags for use in the Bamboosero shops. They take the place of the store bought plastic wrap that is needed to protect the bamboo when wrapping the bike's joints with epoxy soaked fiber.
