Group Structure:
From the very beginning of Craig's efforts in Ghana, Ibrihim has been doing everything in his power to lead the Bamboosero curve. He manages his own staff of workers using division of labor, teaching them skills that suit his needs.

Workshop environment:
Perched high on a suburban hill of Accra called Suotuom, is Ibrihim's dual purpose Bamboosero shop/home. Ibrihim was among the first of the Bambooseros to invest in his shop with things like an artistically designed fixture table, material organizers and a smooth system for exporting to Bamboosero USA. His access to the foreign tourist market combined with his relatively accessible location affords him the luxury of inviting visitors to the shop where he can show off his wares.

Background:
Prior to building bikes, Ibrahim was underemployed, selling souvenirs at the cultural center. Ibrahim's entrepreneurial energy struck Craig from the get go. Responding to a tip from a friend about Craig's initial visit to Ghana in 2007, Ibrahim has been involved since day one.  He has remained steadfast ever since.

For his first two years as a Bamboosero, Ibrahim finagled temporary workshop space from friends - requiring cumbersome hauling of materials between storage and working area. As of early 2009, Ibrahim deepened his commitment by borrowing capital to enable construction of a proper workshop space. This drew him to the outskirts of town to the location of his father's plot of land where he now works and resides with his wife and baby.

Ibrahim's business:
Thanks to Ibrahim's years of experience in the heart of Accra he continues to assertively 'hustle up' (as we say locally) skills and business. He has worked hard to position his frame building & mechanic skills competitively. With the capital he borrowed, he has extended electricity to his newly constructed workshop/living facility in an area where there previously was none. This is no small feat!

To support his proven entrepreneurial efforts~order one of Ibrahim's frames.
