Kawayan Tech is an organization composed of alumni members of the U.P. Mountaineers (UPM). UPM started the successful bike sharing program in the University of the Philippines (U.P.) They are an active partner/founder of the Tour of the Fireflies. They have recently worked towards the initiative to allow folding bikes in the light rail transit system. Members of Kawayan Tech have worked together in various capacities over the last 20 years. They are a cohesive team with management experience in various fields related to environment, development and social entrepreneurship.
